Eliza Lanzillo, PhD

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for eating disorders and body image concerns, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and anxiety in adolescents and adults. I bring both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to my practice, and seek to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental, and supportive space for my clients. 

My treatment approach includes Enhanced Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT-E), Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps clients cultivate a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves, and live in alignment with their values. My work is grounded in body-neutral, non-diet principles and tailored to meet each client where they are in their journey.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brown University before earning my PhD in Clinical Psychology from The Catholic University of America. My specialized training includes an APPIC-accredited predoctoral internship with the OCD Program at Baylor College of Medicine, where I honed my expertise in treatments for OCD and related conditions and pursued further training in eating disorder treatment.

My commitment to evidence-based treatment extends beyond the therapy setting. I have contributed to numerous published research studies and have presented my work at national conferences. My research background, particularly in suicide prevention and treatment intervention, directly informs my clinical practice, ensuring clients receive care grounded in scientific evidence.
