At the Texas Institute for Cognitive & Behavioral Therapies (CBTTexas™), we are always looking to bring on exceptional clinicians who share our passion for providing evidence-based, compassionate, and life-changing care.
Why Work With Us
A Particularly Good Fit If You Are
Therapists (PsyD, PhD, LPA, LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
We welcome clinicians who are passionate about evidence-based practice and enjoy blending clinical rigor with warmth and flexibility. Whether you thrive in structured CBT protocols, value the art of therapeutic rapport, or want to deepen your expertise in specialty approaches, CBTTexas™ offers the kind of environment where science and compassion meet.
Postdoctoral Fellows & Advanced Externs
CBTTexas™ is an excellent training ground for clinicians who want to learn the “gold-standard” treatments while also developing their professional identity in a warm, supportive setting. Fellows and trainees can expect mentorship, hands-on consultation, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists.
Clinical Interests We Value
We’re a strong fit for providers who are energized by treating complex and comorbid cases. If you love untangling OCD when it overlaps with eating disorders, addressing overcontrolled perfectionism in high-achieving teens, or supporting women through reproductive and hormonal transitions, you’ll feel right at home.
Psychiatrists (General and Child & Adolescent): Whether primarily focused on medication management or blending therapy and pharmacology, psychiatrists play a central role in our coordinated care model. We value providers who appreciate collaboration and see medication as one part of holistic recovery.
Other Physicians (Internists, Pediatricians, Adolescent Medicine Specialists): Clinicians with expertise in eating-disorder medical care who can provide thoughtful oversight of safety, medical stability, and physical health in an outpatient setting. Ideal for those balancing academic medicine or HLOC work while seeking a small, meaningful outpatient caseload.
Registered Dietitians (Eating-Disorder Specialists): RDs who practice from an FBT-informed framework, are comfortable with exposure-based nutrition interventions, and enjoy working as true teammates with therapists and physicians. Your role is pivotal in helping patients normalize eating, face feared foods, and translate treatment goals into daily routines.
