At CBTTexas™, our team is passionate not only about helping our clients heal, but about equipping others to support them well. We provide education, consultation, and outreach to clinicians, schools, medical providers, educators, and families seeking to better understand and apply evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, and related concerns.
Whether you're a therapist navigating a complex case, a school counselor facing student mental health challenges or a parent group looking to understand anxiety or the hidden costs of dieting, our goal is the same: to make science-backed, practical strategies accessible to everyone who needs them.

As former full-time academic faculty, program directors, and supervisors, we are deeply committed to training the next generation of evidence-based providers. We provide:

Common presentation topics include:
We love working with schools, pediatric practices, independent counselors, parent education groups, and local nonprofits to bring high-quality mental health education into the community.

He has taught graduate-level courses, supervised interdisciplinary trainees, and consulted across medical, school, and community systems nationwide. He specializes in eating disorders, anxiety disorders/OCD (especially when they co-occur), with additional expertise in long-standing clinical presentations and cases that have shown limited response to prior treatment. He is passionate about program development and the thoughtful integration of evidence-based treatments across levels of care and comorbidities, which led him to develop the FBT-Anchored Modular (FAM) Model for adolescents with eating disorders.
