For the last 7 years, I have specialized in the assessment and treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. I work collaboratively with my clients to understand how OCD and anxiety are impacting their lives, and then make a unique treatment plan to best suit their individual needs. I adherently provide evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy, with a particular emphasis on exposure and response prevention (ERP). I strictly utilize interventions that research has shown to be effective, while still maintaining a warm and compassionate approach to treatment.
I have received extensive training in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders with some of the foremost experts in the field (See below). I then joined the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) as an Assistant Professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. In this role, I served as the Director of the ARPA School Anxiety School Refusal Program, and provided therapy and supervision to master and doctorate level trainees in BCM's OCD Program. In addition to private practice, I continue to serve as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at BCM.
